We have a night service / holiday message which is played when our main console is put into night service. This is great for when callers call the main switch number but we have departmental hunt groups that would also like to avail of the service. Is there such a thing as a night service for hunt groups?

PS. I love you. Whoever you are.

My initial thought would be to provide on the end and within the the Hunt Chain the ACOD (Access Code) or the Route if its RAN or the SDN / Night Service if its CPilot

Cheers !!

But how can it be easily managed without having to require lots of IT intervention?

If you look into your CDB under NIT_DATA you will see NIT1 this is the number your night service will follow on the 2250 console. If you were to build a timer in your voice mail point the main hunt group number to it, then during the day send the call to a new hunt group (which replaces the existing one, like for like just a different number) and during the night send it to the same number as in the NIT1 prompt, you should duplicate the night service on the console.
Is this what you are looking for?

To GHTrout - So Time of day redirection can work for pilot DN. I am not worthy.

To: trvlr1 - To get this straight, call comes into switch and gets forwarded straight to callpilot which does a time of day decision on the call. If it's out of hours / week the call gets sent to the same night service SDN (within callpilot) as the main number otherwise it gets forwarded out of callpilot and to the hunt group as normal. I am not worthy, again.

Or you can send it to the group voice mailbox/ security gaurd/ janitor etc.

I shouldn't like to forward any calls to our security guard. He's only half human.

So .... how did you get one of the good ones .....? :-}
