Hi,

I have just a question following a recording problem.

Where the Nice Voip logger collects the information contained in the mascmap.ext ?

Indeed for 4 channels i have this line on the mascmap.ext :

" 1 1 <DS SW="1" /> 0 "

while for the other device i have this :

" 1 1 <DS SW="1" /> <FA DEV="SEP001A2F8038D5" FD="FSP@191.xxx.xx.xx:xxxx" FD_Ver="Ver_1" DIR="BOTH" P="2" /> "

Thanks for your help !

Hi Mamaoux

In nice Perform Channel mapping the 4 channels can be mapped to a SEP or an extention. I belive you see " 1 1 <DS SW="1" /> 0 " when you map a new sep og extention to a channel. When the first call is made on that phone it should change to 1 1 <DS SW="1" /> <FA DEV="SEP001A2F8038D5" FD="FSP@191.xxx.xx.xx:xxxx" FD_Ver="Ver_1" DIR="BOTH" P="2" /> "

If it doesnt change, you can run tapimontor.exe and chekk that the SEP and Phonenumber is listed and that you see automatic invocation at the end of the line.

Regards Johan

Thank you for your answer !

We actually use SEP to map channel, they are correctly mapped.
I have checked the tapimonitor (locate on the primary FSP server) and the devices are listed with their phone number , SEP and in "automatic invocation".
So there is a problem when the logger tries to collect the information for the mascmap to the tapimonitor ?

hi what is exactly the problem are you getting records but no audio. the tapi monitor just shows what devices are monitored for cti purposes this information is also in driver log when integration dispatch service starts

is it static or dynamic mapping thats what determins data in masc map also rcm logs on interaction server wil show you a lot.

Hi,

Yes the problem is that I have a few devices with no audio on record.
I will search in rcm logs and tell you if I find any error.

also in NBA when you highlight the call there is an exception tab is there an exception listed. if so refer to exceptions doc on extranice. if its passive voip you may have a sniffing issue. put wireshark on loger and watch for RTP stream and analyse voip calls

Mapping by SEP is good. The information from Tapi monitor tells me that the Phone is set up with the BIB enabled.

Just to chekk the obvius. On the static mapping page there is a diskette button you can press to save your changes. After you press the diskette button you need to press upload configuration button.

You might want to try to unmap a channel, save and upload, and then map the channel again, save and upload.

Can you tell me the version of NICE Perform you are running ?
