Ok so we've deployed Nice Perform 4.1 and it records. The few things I'm running into are on the EU pc.

So issue 1 is when the users are working randomly they're screen will begin shaking and the mouse pointer is forced to the center of the screen. This occurs when scrolling quickly while using Salesforce.com, going into Street view or quickly moving through Google Maps. Sometimes even just beginning to compose a new email it occurs.

Issue 2 involves those with multiple screens. Dual monitor users that are using Photoshop or any other Adobe product on their secondary screen, if they zoom in or increase the brush size to a very large size will force the mouse pointer to the center of the primary screen.

Ok so bg on the EU computers. WIndows XP SP3, dual core i5 w/ 4gb of ram. I am not sure why, but when SASession.exe is terminated the issues are resolved. Anyone able to enlighten me on why the Screen Agent Session executable would be doing to cause these issues or any other info.

All help is greatly appreciated.

Thank you

have you checked the screen agent logs on machines affected?

if certain applications are causing problems i would add them to the application exclusion list when deploying screen agent as a test and see if its actually screen agent issue. there are tweaks in registrey also you may want to refer to troublshooting doc?

Hi Saint

I havent installed screen recording on NIM4.1 yest but I have installed screen recording on Perform 3.x. On Perform 3.x I fond that if I record screen in grayscale mode, I get the information I need from the screen recording with less load on the client computer. On 3.x I always changed to grayscale by going into the registry. On NIM 4.1 you can change to grayscale in System Administrator. Under : Organisation -> Agents Center -> Profiles -> Screen Agent - Default Screen Agent configuration.

With the new Agent Center in NIM 4.1 I'm told it should be easy to change screen reocording setting to troubleshoot problems like the probems like this. Please lett me know if you are able to solve the problem. It will be usefull information for me in future installations.

Regards Johan

Hi Saint,

im deploying a system in Norway next week as part of a global customer and will let you know if i come accross same issue.

Sounds like a DirectX issue!
As it goes weird when the graphics get heavy right?
try re-installing DirectX.
Also make sure you have the latest UP for 4.1 which i believe is 4.1.24 although not sure if its been officially released?
Do the logs have any errors in debug mode?

Young fool... Only now, at the end, do you understand...

Ok so working with one of the Nice engineers he created a secondary profile that had a reduced capture quality and that corrected the issue.
