Hello guys

I have "all of my life" configured the CAPTURE NIC (lan card) with 100 Mbps full duplex, as I learned from my coach documents. This was true for all NICE servers except DB server.

anyway i found an installation made by NICE directly which put the capture NICs (of several loggers) in Giga auto, and the data switch has the ports with forced Gibabit.

which would be the best practice on practice?
nice documents (certified servers guide) from 3.1 and later says Network Interface Ethernet TCP/IP: minimum speed 100 Mbps configured as Full
Duplex

Generally servers should be set to the same as the port on the switch
