i got a compaq presario notebook, there is problem with the network, it is not functioning, although i check all the properties, all fine except when i try to check the ipconfig in the dos prompt, its show everything 0.0.0.0. so i go to network properties to check the tcp/ip and it is showing 192.168.0.26. but why it showed 0.0.0.0 in ipconfig instead of the ip address??? i thought is the nic problem so i check on the device manager and the status is working properly. so wat i done is, i remove everything from the network properties and re-install everything. but the network still not working properly...any idea????

do an ipconfig/all compare any settings for multiple adapters such as ppp, and confirm that you have a unique MAC (hardware) address. tmp.Worldwide
