NI2 PRI to Siemens Hipath

We set out to connect a Siemens Hipath 4000 v6 via PRI to our CS1000M.

When we tries to sync up on NI2, we only got strings of errors. We changed it to a 4ESS PRI and set the Hipath as master clock and it syncd right up and we pass good traffic. Unfortunately, I don't get good callerid data on the Hipath since it's not NI2.

Any ideas regarding NI2 setup that would have created issues for us?

Both ends have to be set as NI2 for this to work, not just the CS1000

We had that. However, timing or something wasn't working.
We're going to try to blow out the setups on each and rework NI2

Can you show us your route and D Channel build?

If the Highpath supports it, it would suggest using QSig

I'd love to- Better yet, I'd like to go to NI2!

Unfortunately, I can't get Siemens to switch over to QSIG.

I know it's better, but I don't have anyone here to reprogram the trunk.

If I were only a bit smarter.....
