My users are complaining that the session time out for NFuse is too short. Where do I change that setting? I have some users that sit idle for a decent amount of time and NFuse will kick them off.

Thanks,
Matt

If i am not mistaken the setting for NFuse timeout is set in the nfuse.conf file on the web server. I forget the exact location but it is nfuse.conf for the settings.

Connection timeouts are set in Citrix Connection Configuration >>advanced.

If you are talking about the web session and not the Citrix session there are two places you need to go to raise the time out value. In NFuse 1.6 or lower it is in the NFuse.conf file and in NFuse 1.7 in the NFuse admin site under Authentication and change the ticket time out. The other spot is in the website settings in IIS under the properties of the web site, go to the Home Directory Tab and select Configuration under the Application settings. Then select the App Options tab and change the session time out there as well. This will keep the users loged in longer.

If the problem is a session to an application timing out then check the properties of the connection in connection manager and ensure there is no time outs set there. You may also want to enable ICA Keepalives which is turned on in the registry by adding a DWORD Entry named IcaEnableKeepAlive with a value of 1 to HKEY Local Machine\System\CurrentControlSet\Control\Citrix.

Hope this helps
