I've just remastered 4 S8720's and one of them won't boot up properly. I directly connected a monitor to it just to check what exactly happens during boot up, and here's what I got seconds before the server restarts itself again:

Has anyone encountered this error? I hope it's not a defect in the hardware itself :(

maybe it could just be a corrupted file system... worst thing corrupted file system brought about by defecive HDD.

I've tried remastering it several times already yesterday and it still comes up with that error. I'll try swapping out its hard disk with the working one, I'll update you guys later. Thanks!

Okay, tried putting the HD of the problematic server into a known working one and it booted up normally, which means the HD has no problems. I then tried re-seating/swapping the DIMMs but the issue still persists.

I finally got the server to work after I removed the DAL1 card. Also, each other server also experienced the same errors after I insert the said DAL1 card, so I'm pretty sure there's something wrong with that card.
