Hi
I have a disk which I have run the dd command on to copy the boot disk as a backup. I no longer need this and want to restore the disk for use (currently I can't mount this disk for obvious reason and I have retained the fstab entry). What is the best way to go about this, I have been looking at the newfs command (Solaris 8) but I just get an I/O error when testing the command (-N).
Anyone any ideas what I should do for the best as I am inexperienced in this?
Thanks
Phil.
