Newbie seeks answers to java....

Hello,
I haven't been able to load any games on pogo.com. All action is cancelled.I downloaded the newest java and now I can't even load a game. I tried resetting internet options and reseting web settings.Nothing works. Windows ME.
Any advice techies?

Try a repair of ie

Go to start\settings\control panel

click add\remove programs

scroll down to "Microsoft internet explorer" and click add\remove

You will be given 3 options

choose "repair internet explorer" and click ok

If that doesn't work

download and install Java virtual machine :-

Go to C\windows\download program files...look for any Java appletts that are damaged and delete them...if in doubt delete everything in the folder...you'll be prompted to re-download them again if or when they are needed.

You might also want to check the "Security" options in "Internet Options", esp.: Microsoft VM -> Java Permissions.

You could also try downloading the Sun Microsystems Java Plug-in and force the browser to use that rather than the MS version.
