newbie - "save as"

I am new to web page design and have a question. I want to be able to have my visitors click on an icon, image or link that will prompt them with the window that asks what to do with the file. In IE, for example, it asks, if you want to "Run it or Save to disk". In firefox, it asks, "what do you want to do with this file?" How do I incorporate this option into my website?

I don't quite get what your problem is. Usually the user of the browser knows how to save from the page, if you are worried, you can always have a help page which explains how to save for each browser type.

Sometimes, when my code just won't behave, I take it outside and make it listen to britney spears music, and when it comes back it's really well behaved. I wonder if it's suffering from post tramatic stress syndrome now..
