We are currently commissioning an internet sharepoint site using a third party host.

We are experiencing a number of login and check out issues by users. I suspect they are are related to the browser configs on each client. Can anyone advise what settings are desirable to enable.. eg Active X, Popups etc

Thanks in advance

Lochbel

What version of Sharepoint?
What version of Office on the clients?
How are you managing authentication over the Internet?

Sharepoint interaction requires Office Professional; do they have that version installed?

Was specifically after browser issues.

Check-in/out functionality are specifically related to the version of Office you're using, not the browser. These features make use of methods in an Office Professional DLL.
