I have VB6 and crystal report designer 8 (trial version, downloaded from crystaldecisions.com).

Now, how do I create a .RPT file? When I use with VB, a DSR file is getting created, which is of VB's.

Someone help me!!!

You don't need to create .RPT files. You call the .DSR files from VB. With the RDC technology, you never have to leave the VB development environment.

You can, if you wish, right-click on the .DSR file and save it out to a .RPT file. But it's not necessary. Brian J. Alves
