Newbie: Multiple Web Sites

I have a question...been looking through books and net. Just need simple 1.2.3. instructions.

I have Win2k Adv. Server, running a web server. I can access my site only VIA

http://123.123.123.123,

I want it where I type in

http://www.mysite.com

it'll point to that. Do I just change the header thing in the "Default Web Site" ?

Next question...I want to have multiple sites.

http://www.mysite.com

,

http://www.othersite.com,

etc... I've added new website on the server and used the same IP for it, but when I try to access, it doesn't see it. Do I need to setup the DNS?

You need to use dns to resolve domain name to ip address and then host headers in the internet services manager to link the domain name to different sites running on the same ip. If you need more detail just ask
