New to sharepoint, and unfortunately, I'm not a programmer, so please bear with me.... any help would be appreciated.
I'm the guinea pig here for Sharepoint, and we've set up a website for a new project. I've created an issues list, but there doesn't appear to be a good way to run reports off of the list. Any ideas?
In trying to keep actions on an item in order, I want to add the date/time of action on the item. I added the column, and set to default date and time, with today's date. But when I edit an item, the default doesn't fill in.
How can I get the date/time to fill automatically?
Thanks for any and all input.
Brian

You can use a calculated column where the field you use is 'Modified' (you can see it on the right side), this will change every time you change something to the item. If you want to make a report, I would advise to use a view. You can group the information, determine what info is needed in which grouping.
