We are using GPv8 running on SQL Server 2000. I've been asked to remove some former employees accounts and add some new employees to the system.

There seems to be a myriad of permissions that need to be assigned for each new user.

Is there any faster way of setting up new users?

I was thinking of copying an existing user and renaming the new account but I can't see a way to do this.

Probably similar to above question but is there anyway of setting up templates for specific permissions so I can assign users the correct permissions quickly?

Any help would be gratefully received.

Any UK based users out there? If so do you have any support companies you use that you could recommend. We are based in South Wales.
Cheers

I've noticed the User Classes item which I suppose answers some of my template issues. Is there anyway to copy users or copy existing users permissions into a User Class?
Cheers

Advanced Security will do exactly what you want. It will allow you to roll up a users permissions to a user class.
