Hi there all,

I'm a Desktop tech who recently inherited the responsibility of managing our Meridian PBX phone system and after receiving only 3 hours of "wonderfully intensive" training i'm hung up one little problem. Essentially, I'm creating new accounts by way of cpy 1 and then i dump that into a free DN (x1000) we use for that function. When I go to modify that copied account, i'm having problems changing the display name on the account. I'm just not sure on the syntax, and I was hoping one of you can give me a hand.

This is as far as I get...

<I do a>
REQ: CHG
TYPE: 2616
TN 12 0 7 11
ECHG YES
ITEM KEY 0 SCR 1000 <...this is where I get screwed up, not sure what syntax to use to display the name>

Sorry to bug you all with such a pathetic request, but if you can help me out it'll be most appreciated.

thanks!

Hi,

What is the SCH code you recieve?

Marc D.

No trees were killed in the sending of this message. However a large number of electrons were terribly inconvenienced.

AFTER DN YOU SHOULD GET MARP HIT RETURN AND GET CPND ENTER
NEW OR CHG RETURN ENTER NAME.

Thanks phonedude10...that did it. Whoo hoo...I can finally be productive. Thank you all for your feedback.

I think i'll check out LD95, see what that's all about.

=)
