I am using Seagate Crystal Reports Version 8.0.1.0 and I am trying to create a paragraph on a report with two variable fields. I am using a field object. I'm not sure if I should use something else, but I have been able to figure out how to get the variables into a formula without much trouble. My problem is, I am limited to 254 characters in a string (at least according to the error message that I receive.) and I want this paragraph to be 11 lines long. I have tried using multiple field objects, but my variable fields are variable in length and with the shorter lengths it leaves a gap at the end of the line that just looks stupid. Anyone have any suggestions?

Thanks,
Dave

Add a text object, and place the fields into the text object in the proper order. A text object has no length limit and can contain fields and text combined. Ken Hamady

Thank you. I was unaware that you could insert fields into a text box.
