Newbie-Cant start service

I just installed MySQL and the installed never completed because it could not start the service. So i had to cancel out and try to start it manually which of course did not work. Any ideas here? Its never been installed on this machine before!

Here is the error i am getting when i try to start it:

Default storage engine (InnoDB) is not available

I am having this problem and will work from these links, which seem relevant:

Rename the service (if still in the install wiz, I guess)

Go to Windows Services and start the service

Fix corrupt InnoDB files

Now eight hours later. Solving the issue didn't take long ... and it wasn't hard ... now what was that solution? I think it was entering the right ID/password.
