Newbie - Best way to learn Exchange 2007

Hello,

We are buying our first Exchange server and instead of buying 2003 and upgrading to 2007 I'm holding out for the release of 2007. I have no experience with MS Exchange and need advice on the best way for me to learn how to install and support it for 130 users. The books I'm finding on it are being released in the spring which doesn't help.

Classes? Books? All suggestions are welcome.

There's a few top notch books being shipped around launch time. The best way for me is a VM, some time and the absolutely excellent help file that you can download from MS.

A VM is a Vitrual Machine.

go to

http://www.vmware.com/products/server/

and grap yourself some free vm software. intall windows on the vm. install exchange 2007 on it and start playing

I knew I'd seen that posted somewhere. eWeek's Microsoft Watch had this recent post:

Microsoft is holding launch events in January that include Vista, Office 2007, and Exchange 2007, so it better not RTM later than December.
