hello.....I'm new to this forum & to 3d studio max..I;m currently at uni studying computer programming...but also doing a CAD course. For my assigment I have to draw a simple bell and animate it...after a few attempts i had something which....well...didnt resemble a bell much..lol..can anyone give me any clues or point me to some online tutorials which will show me how to draw a bell.....thanks for any replies......jon

Hi Jon,

If you are just going for a basic shape of a bell then an easy way to do it is:

1. Using splines(line) draw the inside and outside edges of one side. to make the basic shape
2. make a circle using splines to make a path for it to follow
3. add a loft to your basic shape and tell it to follow the path(circle)

If you want any more spacific points or if you want a more detailed way to make a bell email me I Em Not A God
