Im a web developer but have never really had any expierence with ASP, basically just all HTML which sucks cause I see how powerful ASP can be.

I was wondering if someone could point me in the right direction or give me some advice on what I could do to possibly start out learning. What I want is to incorporate MS Access databases with ASP. I have Id say intermideiate ability with Access.

Im wondering if someone can tell me whats most important and what all needs to be learned in order to be pretty powerful in ASP. I have ASP, Access, and Visual Basic books.

What should I learn/read first?? Also should MySQL be heavily considered for learning?

I wouldn't use Access, go with MySQL. I have a step by step tutorial at my site MySQL is easy, and much more powerfull then Access.

As far as ASP goes, start with the basics, learn how to write to the page, and using querystrings, I have some lessons on my site, and books help to.

[tt] Any book from Wrox ASP would do.
