Ok, This time I really stuck my foot in my mouth

Can somebody aim me to a quick basic tutorial on SAP.

I prefer a web site since time is very short.

I need a good overview and some idea what the GUI looks like.

A good basic book would help if I can find it in stock at Borders.

Mean time, I am reading posts in this forum so thanks to all the people who post and or answer

I would recommend SAP R/3 Handbook (Hernandez) ... but if time is short then the almost 1000 pages that it has may be a little rough.

In saying GUI I am guessing that you are referring to the applications that you see and not the SAPGui.

SAPGui (A.k.a SAP Logon Pad) is a screen that consists of System, SID, Group/Server, System Number & Message Server.

The real meat and potatoes resembles for the most part a common windows application like a Visual Basic interface or a MS Access Application. But..... You also have the one offs like PORTAL that is completely like a webpage and is Java based.

Truthfully if you are looking to learn SAP quick and dirty dive in and plan to spend at least 3 months to understand what you are doing ... and then good luck.
