New window causes old to refresh

My pages utilize a new window whenever an image is clicked. If the page is lengthier than a monitor's screen, the page is refreshed when an image at the bottom of the page is clicked. This makes browsing images on my site a real pain! an example of this would be located at

http://www.tvrphotography.com/miramar02.htm

Click on an image at the bottom of the page and you'll see what I mean. How can I fix this?

You have used # to make a null or nowhere link, use javascript:; instead of #

<a href=javascript:;> Ranjan
