A user was moved to a new location. The set was moved with set relocation, all without me there. When I arrived I was asked to repair the voicemail not working. Call pilot shows a mailbox with his dn. I go into the BCM Unified manager and it shows voicemail on the DN. I have tried deleting it from both locations and re-adding from both locations and it still will not attach to the set itself. You can get to the mailbox, but not directly. When going to Feature 981 it says "Log:". I am familiar with a BCM450, but have not dealt with a 400. I tried adding it to my Element manager, but nogo there, so I am stuck with the Unified. Not sure what to try next.

How do you know it is not associated to the extension. Have you dialed Feature 984 and diverted to voicemail and then rang the set? It sounds like the Voicemail is in NVM mode and Not call pilot as you might have normally used. If you log on to the Voicemail and click configuration-----system Properties and then half way down the page you will see a setting Primary UI style I think and it is probably set to NVM. Short of that make sure you have the system has a license for the subsriber mailbox and you have initialised the mailbox.

Thanks,
Colin

It's still a CallPilot - whether it's a 450 or 400.
If your seeing "Log" there is no Mailbox associated with the extension.
If you have verified that the extension is correct (on the set) and if you have a "subscriber" mailbox associated with that extension in CallPilot... reboot.

Thanks Wally. I will give that a try first thing in the morning. Will let ya know.

That was it Wally! Thanks. As an IT guy, I should have thought to just restart the stupid thing! DUH! Still weird though.
