After looking in the FQA and reading some suggestions I have found that most of them involve creating your projector on both Mac and PC and sending the Mac projectors to Mac people and the PC projectors to PC people. Unfortunately, I don't have access to both a PC and a Mac with a copy of Director - just a Mac. Is there any way to create a projector from my Mac that will play cross platform? If not, any other cross platform suggestions? Someone mentioned "embedding" it in a browser. How is that different from creating a shockwave file for a web page?

it isn't different, that is exactly what you would be doing.
It does cause problems where you need to read/write files to the users local machine, and you have problems with external files.

There are other ways to slay the beast though. You could try to find someone who has the PC version who could make the projector for you. If its cost effective take it to a multimedia dev place and get them to do it, they will probably charge you for it but it may be worth the money.

There is one way around it unless you are using the disc for making money, then you cant. But if you are using it for educational purposes then.... if you have a version of virtual pc on your mac, then get the demo version of director and make the director projector on it like that? that is how i have gotten around it in the past, but only for educational/non profit examples.

Hope its been a help?
