I just bought a new 1.6Ghz system and had 256MB ram put in.

I want to find the program that gives me the info about the system and all of its components, even the ram speed. So far I have not located it. Can someone give me the keyword to look for?

Thanks in advance. So far I don't like XP.

Start then Programs, Accessories, Tools then finally System information. Martin
You can check all sorts in there!!!!!! Vote if you found this post helpful please!!

Also, you can download this freeware that will tell you about everything there is to know about your computer:

I could be wrong, so don't hold that against me. At least I'm trying! I hope I've helped in some way........

Thanks for the info. I downloaded the file and got "This is not a valid 32bit file" error. It wouldn't install it on XP even though the info about it said it would run on XP.

Try running the Program Compatibility Wizard and configure the file for Win9x by going to Start > All Programs > Accessories > Program Compatibility Wizard. It might work then.

Thanks. I am still figuring out XP and forgot the compatibility function. It works now.
