Hi;
New to xml/xsl

1.Does anyone know wheather or not it's posssible to create a stander header head / footer XML that can be used in any other xml throught incorperating the it in the xsl style sheet. Does anyone know where there are any examples of this
in xml and xsl useing template and elements.


2.CAN an Header / footer ASP that creates HTML and a asp that creates xml date and it's xsl all be transformed into one HTML page. with the the header, body of data ,and footer all on the same page.

So you want a header in your xml file.
In the top doc type section of the xml file you put in this line:

<!ENTITY header SYSTEM &quot;header.html&quot;>

which calls in the header you want (it can be a variety of different extensions, not just .html).

Then, wherever you want the header.html file to be inserted, you simply put the following line:

&header;
