New to IIS...need help setting up two sites on one Server

I am new to working with MS W2K Server...running IIS. I have been tasked to learn what it would take to set up a Development site and a Test site on one machine.

Example:

dev.intranet
test.intranet

My boss would like to have two separate sites set up for now until we can purchase another machine and have a true Life Cycle environment...Dev, Test, Prod...etc. this will have to do until budgets are approved late-to-mid June.

Any help, tips, or references would be appreciated greatly!
