Hello,
I would to configure GP to lock down a computer and user. And if it works out, i would like to apply it to 20 more computers.

I want a specific user to not see any hard drives, and programs except IE.

I already tried this but i am not very good with windows. I used the MMC to apply the GP but perhaps i did not configure it correctly. Does anyone have documentation that has step-by-step instructions?

Thanks,
Chicken

A question:

Is it just this ONE user you wish to control, wherever they go/whatever PC they log into? Or are they just the most severe case?

And are you working with a work group or a Windows 2000 Domain? Your options change a great deal depending on this.

Thanks for the replay guys.

It's a domain and i want to have a spefic account the multiple users can use. Sort of like this, I have three different stores that will have a computer that the customers can access to lookup whatever they want. But I do not want them messing around with the local computer or resources on the domain. I just want the user to have IE access only.
