I have the task of connecting two remote locations together via FR. I am experienced in networking and computers, but I have never delt with Frame Relay. What I need to know is what equiptment to buy to get this all setup. Right now the main store has a Cisco 2621 Router with a T1 DSU/CSU WIC card and a T1 connected to it for internet access. The secondary store that needs to be connected to the main store also all ready has a Cisco 2621 Router with a T1 DSU/CSU WIC card but nothing hooked up to it yet. What am I going to need to purchase to get the link setup? I think I need another T1 WIC for the main store's router right? So then the main store's router would have 2 T1 DSU/CSU one having T1 Internet access and the other connected to the frame relay line. And then at store 2 have the 2621 with a T1 WIC connected to the frame relay. Is that setup going to cover me or do I need something else? Also how much configuration am I going to have to do to the router? The main store is all ready NATed with 192.168.1.xxx addresses how much configuration is going to be involved to continue the address scheme down to store 2 over FR, link the two stores together so they can access each others LANs, and route all of store 2s internet requests out to the internet. I know this is alot to ask, but any help provided would be great, thanks!

Is your internet circuit over a Frame-Relay? What is the distance between the stores? You can go with a frame to the remote if your internet is already running a frame circuit, which brings me to the next question. What is your internet speed? 256k,512, 768, or 1.5? I am trying to determine what you have available. We need more information to properly design a solution. “Reserve your right to think, for even to think wrongly is better than not to think at all”

We have a full 1.5 mbit T1 provided by AT&T and we are planning on gettting a 1.5 mbit frame relay line from them to. The locations are about 6 miles apart.
