new to domino, would like help with domino

Hi, I'm new to lotus domino and I was wondering if anyone knows the needed steps to properly setting up a domino with the right admin databases and logs. If you could provide an easy step-by-step instructions on setting up the needed database and creating links to get it working on the internet as an email server and administrating domino. I appreciate any help. thanks newbie

Have 2 question:- I have lotus domino 5.0.8 installed on solaris 2.6.

1. How to create new user.

2. In the /tmp directory on domino server create some files when started the domino server. How do I redirect to different path.

Some answers:

1. You create new users with the admin client software
2. Why? Thats the dir where files go that have to dissapear when the app quits
