Whenever I am in data entry mode on a table, while filling out the fields for a new record, Access automatically creates a new blank row under it. This new row is now showing up in some of my queries undesireably. Is there anyway to disable this feature so that I have to manually tell Access to create a new row? Thanks.

No. That is how Access works.

If you use a form for data entry, you can switch off the blank line when you are NOT entering a record but when you are entering new records there will always be a 'next' row.

If this bothers you in a query, you could go to query properties and change it from dynaset to snapshot. You will not be able to edit your query, but it will not show that add row.
