Good Morning,

I am getting a new p.c. today and need to reload my ASA 1.1 software on it. Is there a way to copy your different system properties (dial in #'s, passwords) without having to screen print each ones PBX and audix properties? I have about 12 different locations on there!

Thanks,
Tina

Search your old computer for persist.dat

I believe this file has the settings you want to keep.

Thanks Mike I did that but I don't see any properties in it just other note pads

You may want one of your PC support people or someone in your network group to save the things you need onto a server tkinney. Then you can just load these programs back onto the new pc and away you go.

Norton also makes a program called "Ghost" This will make an exact backup of your system that you can load on to a CD/DVD, sort of like a restore diskette.
