New page on each record 2

We have created a 5 page letter to send to clients. The letter is printed front/back, but cannot figure out how to get the next letter to print on a new page. Using CR 8.5 with sql database.

At the end of the 5 page letter, right click it's section and select format section->click the X2 next to New Page After and place:

Thank you synapsevampire, but I have tried that and have been unsuccessful. I still have the next letter starting on the back page for the endind previous letter. Any other ideas?

Hmmm, I guess that you can also try placing a New Page Before formula on the begining section.

2 pages ought to get you there.

Still no luck. I have made modifications to an existing report to get to this point. I seem to run into complications like this often, is it possible that by constantly modifying existing reports I am creating bug in the report itself?

If it's always 5 pages, then insert an extra group footer section and format it to new page before and new page after. This will create an extra page before the next group.

We do not use groups for our letters. We have a seperate program that the letters are queued from. I tried to work the theroy into the report footer with no success. Thank you. I am open to any other possibilities.

Insert an extra section and use both the new page before and after, why doesn't that work?

I did insert a new section with new page before and after. It worked this time (not sure what I did differently) Thank you both for all your help.
