New NPA won't work 1

Hello to all, had a person state they could not dial the 254 area code, so I checked my NPA's and sure enough it wasn't there, so I added it as a new NPA and it accepted it with no errors, still can t dial it, getting reorder from switch, noticed this NPA and 253,255 are the only numbers missing??? Any help would be great, sorry on 1000E

Silly question but did you enter 1254 ?
if so find out what other NPA is in that area and add the same RLI #.
Last thing would be if you are getting a SCH code
you might need to change the ESN block in LD 86 if you are at the max codes allowed by whomever set peramiters

Checked everything but max codes, will check, but I would think it would not accept new NPA if this was the case.

Prt the NPA 1254 does it show it is configured?

prt the RLB in 86 of the RLI you programed for 1254, maybe there is a DMI table?

have you tried dialing from cell, I dont show this as valid area code.

I show a country code 254 which would be International.

How are your NPA's programmed, with or without a 1.

Prtin a few other Texas NPA's and setup 254 the same way.

Programmed with a 1, checked other NPA's and have programmed the same???????, can call from a cell phone, no DMI table

Have you verified that your other NPAs are working?

Can you dial a 1713 NPA?
when you dial 1254xxxxxxx, what happens?

If it doesn't work, goto LD 08 and do a trac on your DN as you are dialing the call to see what is happening.

Where did the 105 come from?


Do you have a Buttset or do you know how to dial the ACCESS CODE to the LD trunk and dial the 1254 number from there and see if it goes though. I think your being Blocked by the LD telco as they may not have it in there database, I have seen this many times. Use your Buttset directly on a COT Trunk and try dialing that number

Have you checked you NRS to see if the entry is in there? Do you have any TDM sets to test the call with?
