The New.Net Application is on my computer in Windows 2000. I have heard it is not good to have it there - should I get rid of it? What does it do? Help??

I have tried to remove it via add and remove programs. NO luck. It seems an unremovable program that exists yet does not exist. Mine occurred after I removed Napster from my harddrive. It may be the wages of sin.

Just go to the new.net site refrenced a few posts up- full uninstall directions are therre. Be sure to drop them a note and let them know what a pernicious piece of drek their plug-in is, too.
