My monitor is not booting up with my pc because my AGP slot on my motherboard is broken. I am not sure if all the other slots are broken. One day i turned on my pc and it showed that all my hardware was new, so that might have been a malfunction of the motherboard. Is there anyway to find out if just the AGP slot is broken? If so, i will jsut buy a pci video card.

Well if you booted up the second time and everything worked fine, then i'd say dont sweat it till something else happens. If it is a agp problem then i'd also say get a new motherboard. finding a good pci video card nowadays with agp pratically the de-facto in my opinion is very small.

The computer might boot up, but i don't get anything on the screen besides check cables, no signal stuff like that. I might purchase a geforce 64 mb pci one, but i don't know if my whole motherboard is messed up, is there a way to tell?
