MM 3.0 with MSS. Sometimes new messages are being marked as "saved" before users retrieve the new VM. Any ideas why this might be happening?
Thanks

vdn,
Is Outlook Client in use on the MM system?
What method are users accessing their Vmbxs, Outlook or TUI?
What does Subsctiber Activity show in the MSS? Does the info directly correlate with info from OHV?

No Outlook, just TUI access. OHV looks normal when either msg gets recorded. And subscriber access shows the user accessing the new msgs and there are some there in the count that are "saved" even though they were not accessed yet. I will try a reboot.

yes, i am having the same problem, they are marked as saved and then the lite goes out. This is what i have found so far. Firstthe user had their password as ext # folled by 1 (xxxx1). after changing her password to a very secure password what i have found is. I have an autodial calling in into my voicemail and accessing the voicemail box. since her password is ext and 1 it was reading the messages and moving them to saved and turning out the light. Now since we have a secure password i have this autodialer still calling in to her voicemail boxevery 10 min. after the 3rd time it locks her out. I have a ticket into LEC to help me ideftify the number so i can route it to a disconnect. I have tried tracing the VDN that it audix is on to check the message for users at home on travel etc. No luck i can not see that. Any one have ideas on how to find out the number calling every 10 mins?

If you run the OHV live mode on the mailbox, can you see the "autodial" number ringing in?

Thanks,
CJH
