new mailbox programming does not go further than "directory"

Attempts to create new mailbox with feature 983 does not allow option to input "message waiting", "outdial pool" or anything else. I have deleted and re created this mailbox several times without any success. Seeking solutions. M7324 model.

Sounds like your out of mailboxes and it is only creating an information box.

I have deleted a mailbox of a less critical user to install this one. Do I need to delete more mailboxes? Or do I need to allow time?

Try rebooting the Call Pilot or Flash VM...

When logged into 983 press 44 to see how many mailboxes.
Post what kind of Voice Mail system you have for options to add if can.
