I've got a new mailbox (just set up this morning via exchange server 2007) that worked for 4 hrs and then stopped working. It was set up exactly like every other (working) mailbox. The mailbox was showing as "disconnected" in Outlook. I thought it might be a profile or .ost corruption, but it appears to be server-related. When I send mail to this user's mailbox I receive the error msg below:

#550 5.2.0 STOREDRV.Deliver: The Microsoft Exchange Information Store service reported an error. The following information should help identify the cause of this error: "MapiExceptionUnconfigured:16.18969:BA000000, 17.27161:000000008C000000000000000000000000000000, 255.23226:00000000, 255.27962:FE000000, 255.17082:1C010480, 0.26937:08000000, 4.21921:1C010480, 255.27962:FA000000, 255.1494:00000000, 255.26426:FE000000, 4.7588:0F010480, 4.6564:0F010480, 4.4740:05000780, 4.6276:05000780, 4.2199:78040000, 4.2770:05400080, 4.29385:1C010480, 4.8620:1C010480, 255.1750:0F010480, 0.26849:0F010480, 255.21817:1C010480, 0.26297:0F010480, 4.16585:1C010480, 0.32441:0F010480, 4.1706:1C010480, 0.24761:0F010480, 4.20665:1C010480, 0.25785:0F010480, 4.29881:1C010480". ##

OL Web Access will not work for this user. Here's part of the error I get when trying to log in via web access:

Exception
Exception type: Microsoft.Exchange.Data.Storage.MailboxUnavailableException
Exception message: Cannot open mailbox /o=addison/ou=exchange administrative group (fydibohf23spdlt)/cn=recipients/cn=mark.spender.

Does anyone have any suggestions? I'm mystified as to why it worked for 4 hrs before these errors occurred. Nothing has changed on the server side since this morning that I am aware of, and all other users are able to access their mailboxes without issue.

Thanks for any assistance!

I'd guess that perhaps you have an AD replication issue?

To resolve this I would run Netdiag and DCDiag on all domain controllers. Run Netdiag on the Exchange servers.

Remove the Exchange mailbox and recreate it after you are certain that replication is working as it should between DCs.

I hope you find this post helpful.

Mark

Mark, Thank you. That was the problem. Forcing replcation was how we corrected the issue.
