New LPAR with VIO but no disks for NIM install

Installing a new lpar that has a local disk on a VIOS that
was created with 'mkvdev -vdev hdisk5 -vadapter vhost6 -dev lpar6_hd5'
but when I run 'lsmap -all' it doesn't have a client partition
id of 6.

When I started my NIM install it said it cannot find any disks. I
expected it to see two disks shown as hdisk0 and hdisk1 since I ran
mkvdev on my two VIOs.

How do I get the disks associated to the lpar so I can do a NIM install?

Thanks.

I already had partition id's of 2,3,4 and I used 6 for my
new partition. When my NIM install failed I ran 'lsmap -all'
again and saw that vhost5 has a client partition id of 6
instead of vhost6 having client partition id 6.

Is that because id's 2, 3, 4 were already used and the next
in line is 5 so it uses vhost5 as the next one and you can't
explicitly use say vhost7 and client partition 7?

Thanks.
