New Look For Partner Telephones.

Yeah, I'll second that. Now I'm going to have to effectively raise my prices because the 18 button without display is no longer available. Any location needing an 18 button will have to be a display phone at that price. Bad! I can't understand why they did this, they always had non-display phones. Probably a win/win situation for them though, only one 18 button phone to produce and it costs more than the old 18 button without display it replaces so they make more money.

I think most other systems are display phones. Avaya may just be trying to update their line. A drop in price would really help sales since many customers decide on price.

While looking that the available pictures of the new telephones, I've noticed that the handsets appear to have been reshaped.

From the back, these new handsets look like the same handsets that AT&T branded corded consumer telephones have been using for years.

Are these actually the same handsets? [ponder]
