New IP DN BCM450

I am trying to install 5 new 1230 IP phones replacing digital handsets.

I have enough IP licenses to install the new phones.

I do not have any DNs configured for these phones though.

I have tried setting the IP to auto configure DNs but the phones keep saying to DNs available to auto configure.

have you installed any IP phones on this system yet.

Default is to allow 16 extns.

Goto telephony resources, and see how many extns you have allowed to be connected and change it if required.

also you need to configure the DNs against the IP PHONES( resources)
EG 300 to 315 to allow 16 extns to be used if they have not been done.

The system allows 16 IP extns on default unless it has been removed (unconfigured)
