New install old roaming profile: performance issues 1

Hi

Some of our machines have been slowing down reciently, so we have re-installed a couple of them hoping this would resolve the issues.

The workstations are pretty quick machines 3ghz Pentiums with 512mb RAM.

The problem is that it has not solved the problem, one machine has spead up a little, but not much. The only thing I can think of is that our users use Roaming Profiles so the performance issues could be to do with something in the profile slowing down the machines?

We have up-to-date antivirus and anti-spyware and are staff are trained on how to avoid malware, so we believe that this is not the problem.

Any advice would be much appreciated.
