Hi Guys,

I need to know what I need to install Office 2003 on about 50 clients.

Can I buy a corporate edition of office and then it doesn't matter the amount of clients? Can I buy one full verison and then buy additional licenses for each client? Do I have to buy the full verison for each client... so I would have 50 cd's for 50 clients????

This is quite an urgent matter so any help will be GREATLY appreciated.

Thanks

Mswilson.

We recently upgraded to Office 2003. We bought 50 copies/licences. What worked best for us was to purchase an Open Licence from Microsoft. We pay the licence cost 50 times but only have to deal with one media and one sheet with the licence on it. You can purchase open licenses from any reseller.

We chose this option since you are able to move the software around. Should a PC die, we just need to install Office 2003 on the new PC without having to purchase new software.

Hope this helps!

do you mind me asking around the amount that I should be looking to spend per license... I have been informed by one retailer that he can get me one enterprise edition which will be around $400 and then licenses there after will be around $30. But then another retailer has told me that it will be $325 for the CD, Box etc etc but then if I want to buy licenses it will be $310.

Is the first one legal? which price is right? Who knows:-(

Thanks again in advance
