New FALC

When I install a new FALC on my Option 81C it show 32 channels even though it is only a 16 port card?
It won't let me add a DN, shows UNEQ and red light on even after enabling it, stat shows 0 to 31 channels???

pos 15 to 31 are reserved for voip use in most cases

did you add the card 1st
LD11
REQ = NEW
TYPE = CARDMLT

ports 0 - 15 are for extns
ports 16 - 31 are for data

Added the card and I can stat the 31 channels, they show UNEQ. If I try and add a new extension I get a SCH6338 which means invalid card density on superloop. Does this mean my system is getting full??

Was there anything else in that slot before? ie a DGTL?

If you move it to a different slot do you get the same error?

It's not getting any smarter out there. You have to come to terms with stupidity, and make it work for you.

moved to new slot. added new dn to port 00. replied 8d to cdes, didn't like that so replied 4d, accepted OK. Stat shows new DN on 00 and 01 to 15 unequip. Phone works OK but very loud dialtone?

dis the card, pull it out, reseat it then re enable

Guys, Thanks for the info. Works OK! Still can't help wondering why some are 8d and some 4d density?
