MY
Sorry for posting this easy question but i really need help?
I want to setup exchange in my company. My company LAN is behind isa server ( secure NAT ).My company domain name is xxx.com.my internally. But i have reserverd the domain xxx.com.my on the internet.
My ISA server has a fixed public IP to ISP( outer connection )and private ip on inner connection.
So the question is:
1.Should i setup exchange behind ISA server?
2.Or should i setup exchage after ISA server?
3.or can i setup exchange in DMZ zone.(after isa server )
4.can exchange work with private ip behind isa server.

I dont hoope anybody to answer this easy question but at least can you point me to a correct documentation on the web.Currently i'm reading a microsoft documen titled "planned AD with exchnage" and a got a headache.

1: yes
2: no
3: yes, but you shouldn't
4: yes

You should refer to the install instructions as well as the ISA Server documentation.

One more thing to ask if you dont mind:
1.do this OWA stuff works if exchange is behind ISA server

Anything can work, as long as you tell ISA to make it work. That means forwarding ports (80 and/or 443) etc. to the Exchange Server.

What you can do on the ISA is set up the Exchange box - 2000 is a bit involved (but not much). ISA 2004 is a rule called OWA that does it all for you!
