I have recently installed an exchange 2003 server in our exchange 2000 environment. I now want to remove the 2000 server. All user accounts have been moved. All replication of the public folders has been completed and the original server has been removed from replication. My problem is this. When I shut down the old exchange server serveral users can not access any public folders. As soon as the old server is backup, public folders are available. I don't know for sure how many users are effected but I know some people could still access them. What step did I miss?
