When i try to open a form, click a button or initiate any of the Lost_Focus events, i get this error:

The expression (On Load, On Click, etc.) you entered as the event property setting produced this error: Procedure declaration does not match description of event or procedure having the same name.

then theres some possible reasons. if you need them listed, just ask.

I've never encountered this error and when i left my desk wednesday(dont work tues and thurs :) ) everything worked fine. It seems it has something to do between Access and VB but everything looks like it matches, i dont know, maybe its me, if you need me to print code, just ask.

If anyone has ever seen this, or knows anything about it, any and all help would be appreciated, this was rather unexpected.

thank you

im not using any modules and all my forms, reports and tables use different names.

I'm still rather confused. Everything worked fine yesterday.

But thanks for the thought Lonnie,

I asked about this on another post in this forum, but maybe someone reading this can help.

I have a textbox bound to a field with an allowzerolength property of no and in my form i have an exit button and if you have any characters in the textbox, it asks you whether you wanna save what you have in the textbox. If i click no, how would i go about telling access not to save a record thats already, i guess, been opened. Do i have to delete the record?? I tried making it an empty string if you click no and it still saves a blank record(even though allowzerolength for the field is set to no). Also, if i type in some letters and then erase them, which im sure is very feasible, considering were gonna be dealing with 40 year old women. It doesnt save a blank record, but the next record you save, its' autonumber is +1, as in 40 to 42. I guess it wont matter since eventually the front end will be the only thing visible, and they wont have that many vendors anyway, but isnt that annoying??

Anyone with ideas and/or suggestions, feel free
